so that we can contact you in case of an emergency

District Procedures in Case of School Closings, Delayed Openings or Early Dismissals

In case of snow, ice or other unusual conditions, school officials may decide to close school, delay school opening, or send students home early.  

News about these decisions is communicated in the following ways:
• Posted on all school web sites
• Phone calls
• email to those who have elected to receive emergency announcements
• Notices on the following TV and cable stations:  News 12, FIOS 1, NY 1, Channels 4,5,7,and 9

Academies @ Englewood Freshman Wins Poster Contest

Alexa Gomez, a freshman in the Academies @ Englewood program at Dwight Morrow High School, has won the 2014-2015 Kids Safe Online New Jersey Cyber Security Poster Contest.
The competition received 483 entries from 38 New Jersey K-12 schools. Alexa was selected as the 9th Grade New Jersey State Winner.  Click here to see her winning poster.


The DMAE American Red Cross Chapter has launched the #KindofCaught Camapaign in an effort to acknowledge and reward random acts of kindness seen in everyday life. Once you get the button, take a selfie with it, post it on Instagram with the #KindofCaught hashtag and a short description of what you did, and pass it along!

Parents' Guide to Student Success

This guide provides an overview for Kindergarten through High school
It is based on the new Common Core State Standards

English Language Arts and Math broken out by grade
•  Ideas for activities to help your child learn at home
•  Topics for discussion for talking to your child's teacher(s)
about his/her academic progress
